Chelsea Clinton to Feature Gluten-Free Cake at Wedding

Former First Daughter has gluten allergy; bakery not disclosed.

At her July 31 wedding, Chelsea Clinton plans to have her cake and eat it too—as long as it’s gluten-free. The daughter of Former President Bill Clinton and current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is allergic to gluten, so wedding plans call for a gluten-free confection, according to AisleDash:

“Calls to three top bakers in New York state, including family favorite Lulu’s in Scarsdale, have not confirmed who will be making the couple’s wedding cake, but a gluten-free cake is sure to be on the wedding menu.”
The cake news is just one of several leaks rounded up by AOL News. The Wall Street Journal reported that catering for the event will be provided by Blue Ribbon Restaurants, St. Regis Hotels and Resorts and Olivier Cheng Catering and Events, but did not note whether the dishes would be gluten-free.
