Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit 2011

March 22, 2019

Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit 2011

Join the celiac and gluten-free community in an effort to drive gluten-free food labeling forward. The first annual Gluten-Free Food Labeling Summit will gather legislators, celiac disease researchers, gluten-free community leaders and food corporations as they call upon the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to enforce a standard for safe and effective labeling of gluten-free food.

Leading up to this event, celiac and gluten-free supporters are encouraged to sign an online petition that notes the urgent need for proper gluten-free labeling. Individuals and companies can also donate to the cause. Suggested donations are in the increments of $11.33 or $133 in honor of the 1 in 133 Americans who have celiac disease.
